Let there be light!

Date: 12/11/2014

As the days continue to grow shorter and the sun slips behind the mountains earlier and earlier each evening, your lights will soon become your best friends.

Whether you’re exploring the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains or you just need a little extra light for your drive to and from work every day, it is important to have the proper lighting set up. Increased visibility on the road or on the trail is crucial in keeping you out of harms way.

At Bullhide we have a variety of LED or halogen lighting options for you to choose from! Be it your daily driver or your decked out rock crawler, some extra light will help you out. It will improve your visibility traveling down the road/trail, helping you spot those upcoming curves or the pesky wildlife that wandered on to the road.

And when it comes to choosing between halogen and LED lights, there’s no right or wrong answer. Halogens work by heating up a tungsten filament, and LEDs produce light by running an electrical current in an arc pattern between two electrodes. Their popularity comes from the expanded lifespan, with halogens lasting 2 to 3 times longer than incandescent bulbs, and LEDs lasting close to 100 times longer. LEDs however, work more efficiently using less power to operate but do come at a higher price because of production costs.

We carry the most trusted brands on the market, with lighting options from KC HiLites, PIAA, Rigid Industries, and Vision X. Bullhide 4x4 professionals have years of experience installing everything from fog lights, light bars, and spot lights on just about every type of vehicle you can imagine. So whether you are looking to improve your visibility for driving or just add a little extra flare to your ride, we’ve got you covered!
