From hot rides to cool new products, last month’s SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) 2015 event did not disappoint. Scott Butters and Ray Huffaker from our staff were lucky enough to attend and they had a blast!

If you don’t know, the SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products in the auto aftermarket to one place. And what’s even more exciting–is that the place happens to be Las Vegas! Although we managed to get some fun time in, we did make the most out of the show. In addition to the fancy displays and product showcases, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more. It was a full day every day!

The 2015 SEMA Show drew more than 60,000 buyers from around the country and the globe. The show displays are segmented into 12 sections, and a New Products Showcase featured nearly 2,500 newly introduced parts, tools and components. Total eye candy for people like us!

A few of our favorite highlights include:

  • The Ford F-350 Super Duty and Legend 2.0, both transformed by Fab Fours, were showstoppers. Dubbed Krypton, the F-350 was fitted with an impressive mix of custom bumpers, visors, flares, racks, steps, grilles and wheels. It really looks like it’s from out of this world! The Legend 2.0 has mad styling–complete with a mohawk!
  • LED lights were the rave once again. These lights have become popular to add a total custom look to any vehicle. Whether they get used or not may not be the end user’s concern, but when they do get used darkness turns into daylight!

The best part about attending SEMA is being able to bring back inspiration and cool new product ideas to share with Bullhide4x4 customers right here in Northern Colorado.
